About Us
ABOUT US
Welcome to MGC Succulents! We are a small, family-owned and operated business located in beautiful Lake Macquarie, NSW. Our journey began in a small backyard in Sydney, NSW, where we took our first steps in building our business. After taking a leap of faith, we relocated to Lake Macquarie and found a temporary space to continue running our online operations. Eventually, we settled in Cooranbong, where we've been based ever since.
Along the way, we faced numerous challenges, including the hardships of COVID-19, devastating bushfires, and floods. Despite these setbacks, we have remained resilient and are slowly but surely bouncing back, thanks to the continued support of our loyal customers. We are deeply grateful for your unwavering support and look forward to continuing our journey together.
As a family, we are passionate about what we do. Your support means the world to us, and we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share our love for plants with you. Thank you for helping us keep our dream alive!
OUR PRODUCTS
At MGC Succulents, we take pride in offering the highest quality plants to our customers. All of our plants are lovingly grown by our dedicated MGC Succulents team. We focus on growing hardy, vibrant plants that thrive in the right environment. Since we don’t use climate-controlled greenhouses, some plants may show natural marks or imperfections, but this is a reflection of our authentic growing process. We believe in keeping our plants as natural as possible, allowing them to develop their unique character.
WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR PLANTS ARRIVE
We know how exciting it is to receive new plants! After spending a few days in transit, your plants may appear a little dehydrated or stretched – this is completely normal. We recommend potting them up as soon as possible to give them a fresh start. Once potted, give them a good drink by placing the pot in a dish of water and letting it soak for a few hours. This ensures the roots get enough hydration.
Our sun-loving plants are grown in full sunlight, but after being in transit, it’s important to gradually reintroduce them to the sun. We recommend starting with a little more sun each day to help them adjust and prevent any shock or sunburn. With a little care, your plants will thrive in their new home!
CONTACT US
We love seeing your plants in their new homes, and we encourage you to share your photos with us! If there are any issues with your order, please send us pictures within 24 hours so we can assess the situation. We’ll typically ask for follow-up photos a week later, as this gives the plant time to recover. We're happy to help with any concerns you may have.
